Aertssen Lifting is a specialist in hoisting, heavy transport and complex heavy-lifting projects. With a modern fleet of machinery, experienced professionals and a strong focus on safety, we support clients in industry, construction, petrochemicals and infrastructure. To achieve our further growth, we are looking for an experienced and results-oriented branch manager to take full charge of our German entity.
What will you be doing?
As Branch Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational, financial and strategic management of the branch. You will ensure optimal business operations, safe working processes and sustainable customer relationships. Together with your team, you will be the driving force behind ambitious growth and improvement programmes.
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
Strategic & Organisational:
• In consultation with the BUM Aertssen Lifting, you will develop and implement the business strategy for the Frankfurt branch
• Identifying growth and improvement opportunities in the market
• Optimising internal processes, working methods and operational efficiency.
Operational Leadership:
• Coordinate day-to-day activities, including planning and project execution
• Ensure compliance, risk management and accurate business administration
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality and legal standards
• Manage, coach and motivate staff, including recruitment and performance reviews
Financial Management:
• Drawing up and monitoring budgets and cost structures.
• Financial reporting to BUM Aertssen Lifting.
• Responsible for the branch’s financial results.
Commercial & Relationship Management:
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, government bodies and suppliers.
• Negotiating contracts, rates and strategic partnerships.
• Representing the company at trade fairs, meetings and industry consultations.

• Experience in a managerial role, preferably within the crane, logistics or construction sector
• Strong financial acumen
• A persuasive leadership style with excellent communication skills
• Decisiveness, resilience under pressure and a strong safety awareness
